Hmm...

I hope that I am not the only one who still has hope for this things to materialize, literally. Everyone has a stake in this and wants to see at least one t-shirt come out of this. Simple changes can be made to the shirt i.e removing the mic and redoing the yellow color inside the piece without much trouble. then simply make the image larger and we pretty much have our shirt. Awhile back P said he still checks the blog, but this is my first time in months.

If we do not accomplish anything soon, and I mean all that needs to be is a single shirt then this symbol of our _________ (cannot decide on the appropriate term) will just be a memory. I know everyone wants somehting tangible to result, so let's make it happen.

Re-Up Time

So two months and not much has come about since the last posts.  I love the little spurts we have, but nothing serious will come about until summer.  I have gotten so much crap from a lot of our friends bugging out on when we are goin to have these shirts made and everything.  Realistically I know we can do this over summer, I hope we are all on the same page with that.  My dad's friend Mickey knows a local screen printer so that matter is resolved.

I know this is a tad spotty but tis better than no input whatsoever.  I'm truly looking forward to this summer, to finally having a shirts we can rep.

Let's get the ball movin baby

Let's not get ahead of ourselves and spread ourselves too thin. I think right now lets just figure out how to finalize what we have. My few suggestions for the logo tee: 1) make that logo huge, or at least significantly bigger because it looks pretty pathetic on the shirt we have right now; 2) Paul and Winston should consider other accessories for the logo like a crown or maybe improve the mic or whatever. I think if we can just do this and get the logo tee done then that would be more than enough before summer.

O yeah, and the few people that I have shown our logo shirt to liked it a lot so if we can handle production before school ends, we can effortlessly spread our image all across the country. However, that is for consideration at a later time.

in the interim

My first post on this blog, there goes my V-card. When I caught up with Paul about a week back and we discussed BKS, he said that maybe conceptualizing a tshirt or two per week would keep the wheels turning rather than maintaining hope on short bursts of output from all of us. We all know the limitations imposed upon us by our college lifestyles, but I know that we all can crank out contributions, whatever they maybe. I spoke with my dad and his good friend Mickey knows someone who does screenprinting and would gladly work with us to make our shirts. The following are just a few of my ideas:

• We need to make the logo tee first and foremost, and hopefully within the first few weeks of summer
• The scantron tee is most likely to be second, but needs to have the BKS twist on it, not just "bam scantron." I know Paul and Winston can grace that tee with their skills
• Something that is special to me is the evolution of our ideas, so I was thinking an evolution tee with our initial gradient logo followed by the curved logo with the "B" that just didn't fit, and now our final design with just a few minor touch ups

BKS: Reloaded

Helloooooo Team!!!!!

I'm thrilled that we've all spontaneously had a resurgent interest in our pet project known as BKS. Jay brought up a great point about our brand's image on a bigger scale, and we should keep our discussions to the blog to retain privacy. And as our ideas percolate, post them so Winston and I can get some illustrations done.

However, the main obstacle right now is securing a shirt-making third party to do this stuff cheaply and without the requirement of ordering a huge amount of shirts. So, let's all try to send me a contact by the end of this weekend. And, no, Larry does not count.
