...The Good
-the design feels smooth feels smooth. It is not texturally seamless, but has a nice, professional feel to it
-The shirt is a good fit, and feels sturdy
...The Bad
-The text “Best Kase Scenario” and “THS 07” are grainy and computer-like and do not smooth texture, almost as if the image was stretched and lost resolution
-The white blobs that surround the perimeter of the design are also grainy
-Most glaringly, the intended yellow patchiness is completely lost, and instead the color looks bright greenish/dark yellow
Side Note:
-Actually CLICK on the pictures and view them in full for a better representation
-Leave comments!! What is our next course of action??

I figured that the yellow wouldn't come out right; next time we might try a glare-styled look to give more dimension. Love it though, from the pictures, but maybe I'm biased :) We should have had it printed in the bottom right corner since it's not so big; if it were huge, front and center, but since its not that big, the off-centering would have played well.

For the next shirt, I suggest that everyone come up with a design or design idea that they really want to see and send it to both paul and myself to put it into a cohesive picture. If you took any inspiration from another picture or text or billboard or whatever, include that in the idea or attach to the e-mail so that I can get an idea of what you want exactly. Then, I guess Paul and I can try to ink it out, send back to the group for discussion, and then get it to Jay and Nicelio for the technical construction. Final stuff will then go to Matt for printing.

So, send ideas as soon as possible.

So we're giving up on this one? I think that we can improve it by:
-somehow making the text smooth
-use a brighter yellow OR a white shirt (the background black fabric was the culprit in darkening the colors)
-make the design bigger on the shirt

WHOA!!! it actually fucking came!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

more seriously, we didn't just waste 30 bucks, so a few minor touch ups and well be good to go. I have adobe illustrator/photoshop on my laptop not to mention a shit load of time to play around so paul if you have the file somewhere (hard drive/email) please send it to me.

as far as the graininess goes i think there is a simple solution which would be to put the letters/bubbles on a black background since as you can see the THS07 that is in the yellow is perfect.

as far as color goes, maybe try and brighten it up a little? I dont know. from the picture the color looks fine to me so i guess only paul is gonna be able to how to fiz it since its hard for the rest of us to tell

Personally i think the logo is slightly too small. what size is the shirt paul? also paul give me a size that you would think looks better if you are not fine with it right now.

honestly, 1 hour in photoshop/illustrator and well be fine to order 24 or so

just a few last questions for Paul:
what would be the effects of putting stuff over a black background, will the black be noticably different than the shirt color (i guess a good sample would be the microphone stripe as opposed to the mic handle)? also what do you feel about the size of the logo?

for the rest of you guys: any color improvements?

no, we're not giving up on this one, it's just that now that we know it's feasible to do, I am merely suggesting that we prepare to launch a whole line. I'm sure that this shirt is salvageable, but I simply can't tell what's wrong from a few pictures.
